Game On 423 Symposium

I’ll be showing Species off at the local GO423 Symposium this weekend. If anyone lives near Brisbane and for some inexplicable reason feels the desire to meet me in person (don’t worry I haven’t put anything in the water… yet), come check it out!

DAY 1: Saturday August 3

Start: 9.30 am
4.30 pm

A morning of panels featuring local game industry folks talking about some aspects of those WHY, WHO and WHERE questions. Followed by a keynote talk from our own Game Developers of Australia Association and friends about game making futures in Australia. The afternoon on Day 1 offers workshop opportunites framed by HOW to make that future happen.

Day 2: Sunday August 4
Start: 9.30 am
4.30 pm

A day of answers: WE make games! A morning of Classic Post Mortems, GDC style, more panels about making games, followed by an afternoon of locally made games and ‘works in process’ to play and chat about in our Games Show-n-tell exhibition, and our very favourite Open Mic.”

This’ll be my first symposium, so go easy on me. 😉

Oh wow, I didn’t realise you were based in Australia. Unfortunately I was up there last weekend (live around Melbourne), so I don’t be able to catch you. Good luck though.
